Ingredients:
- 3 oz chicken or pork
(shredded)
- 2 tbsp black cloud-ear
fungus (cleaned and soaked)
- 2 dried Chinese mushrooms
(soaked and cut into thin strips)
- 1 pc clotted chicken blood
(optional)
- 1 pc bean curd (cut into
strips)
- a few scallion sections
- a few bamboo shoots (cut
into strips)
- 1 egg (beaten)
Seasoning
Mix:
- 1 tsp chili sauce
- 1 1/2 tbsp rice vinegar
- 1 cup chicken stock
- 1/2 tbsp corn starch
pre-mixed with 2 tbsp water.
Procedure:
- Season the meat with 1/8
tsp each of salt and sugar, and 1/2 tsp corn starch for
20 minutes.
- Prepare the seasoning mix.
- Bring the seasoning mix to
boil, add in all the ingredients except the egg. Simmer
over low heat for 15 minutes. Add in the egg. Stir well.
Serve hot.
