Ingredients:
- 2 lb winter melon
- 3 tbsp button mushrooms
- 2 oz straw mushroom
- 2 tbsp lotus seeds
- few black moss
- 1 dried bean curd skin
- seasonal vegetable for
garnishing
Seasoning
Mix:
- 1 tsp superior soy sauce
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/3 tsp sugar
- 1 cup stock
- 1 tsp corn starch
- 1 tbsp water
Sauce
Mix:
- 1 1/2 tbsp oyster flavored
sauce
- 3/4 cup stock
- 1 tsp corn starch
- 1 tbsp water
Procedure:
- Boil winter melon for 15
minutes. Cut into block and set on dish.
- Shred mushrooms. Rinse
lotus seeds. Soak black moss till soft and rinse well.
Deep-fry dried bean curds. Then soak in water, drain and
shred.
- Heat 2 tbsp oil and fry
all ingredients. Pour in seasoning mix. Remove from heat
and pour on top of winter melon. Steam for 30 minutes.
- Bring sauce mix to boil,
pour on top and serve.
- Serve for 6 persons.
